Your First Appointment
Please arrive 15 minutes early for you first appointment to fill out paper work or save yourself some time and download our New Patient Packet and fill out your forms before you arrive.
Your first appointment is your initial evaluation and lasts about 1 hour.
The evaluation differs from the doctor's exam in that he or she is ruling out other metabolic processes that could be causing your problem. The physical therapy evaulation looks at specific musculo-skeletal issues such as:
- Range of Motion
- Strength
- Faulty Movement Patterns
- Posture and Balance
We will schedule the remaining visits on your physical therapy prescription. We appreciate your flexibility in scheduling, as many of our patients need after school or work hours. Some patients find lunch hours or study halls work for them. Your appointments will range from about 30-45 minutes.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
Please provide 24 hour notice of cancellation to avoid the Cancellation Fee ($25). Other patients will appreciate your courtesy in providing schedule openings for them.
Late Arrival Policy
In order to provide you with the best treatment possible, a late arrival may result in a shortened session time in order to remain on schedule for the next patient.
Children Policy
We have books, puzzles, games, and movies for your children to have fun during your treatment time. The clinic area is a high traffic area and a dangerous place for little hands and running feet. In order to provide you the best care, please remember that children must remain in the lobby during your appointment.
